We're closest to the 7th Avenue station on the F train line (get off at the 7th Avenue end -- we're just a few doors down the block toward 8th Street). Alternatively, we're a 1/4 hour walk from the Grand Army Plaza station on the 2 or 3 line or the 7th Avenue station on the Q line.

Wine, like everything in and from nature, is about change and renewal -- and about the delights of variety.

The variations on the pleasures of wine -- and of wine and food pairings, however simple -- can be a joy and a welcome diversion through the cold winter months.

One of the great rewards of working with wine (and we who select and "screen" the wines at Prospect collectively have over 90 years of wine experience) is that there's ALWAYS something new awaiting us with each new season and each new year. New vintages reflect the weather and climate in individual ways, gifted new winemakers appear on the scene, and different vineyard areas come to the fore for a range of reasons.

In this new year we'll be striving harder than ever to find for all of you the most delightful, delicious wines at the most reasonable prices possible. We look forward to sharing our enthusiasm for these discoveries with you, every day in the shop and especially on Saturdays when we hold our tastings, every week, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. And do come visit us anytime to peruse the shelves, ask questions and get acquainted with new wines!
