Serving the same wine throughout a dinner is possible. Simply reverse the roles: it is no longer the wine that must adapt to the menu, but the opposite!
Thus the suppleness and roundness of Château Beauvillage will go wonderfully with a tender starter, such as pan-fried foie gras, the aromas due to aging in oak barrels, such as the woody and toasted notes, will enhance a dish such as a rare beef grilled on the plancha or on the barbecue, the power of the tannins will guide us towards cheeses with flowery pasta, well refined and to finish we will favor a chocolate dessert, the darkest possible.
