Cretum is a super Super Tuscan! The grapes are grown at just a few kilometers from the Crete Senesi area (from which it takes its name). This dark ripe plummy red is rich with red fruits and fine tannins. The sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot were separately fermented and aged 18 mos before bottling. The blend is balanced, elegant and dry. Pair it with tasty pasta dishes, grilled or roasted meat, or medium-bodied cheese.
