We're closest to the 7th Avenue station on the F train line (get off at the 7th Avenue end -- we're just a few doors down the block toward 8th Street). Alternatively, we're a 1/4 hour walk from the Grand Army Plaza station on the 2 or 3 line or the 7th Avenue station on the Q line.

Spring's exuberant new growth in nature around us -- whether it's as close as Prospect Park or as far as the vineyards of Italy -- is always an inspiration in our world of wine.

For Spring is also the season when those who supply us with wine present us with myriad new offerings, new vintages, new winemakers. It's refreshing and exciting for us, and we seek to bring that thrill of discovery to all of you when you visit Prospect Wine Shop.

More news -- Prospect is very happy to be participating in START WINE-ING -- STOP BREAST CANCER. Many restaurants and shops in Park Slope are participating, from late April through early June. We will have a special rosé wine tasting on May 24th, at which 25% of all tasting wines sold will go to the search for a breast cancer cure.

In the meantime, we've got an entertainng and varied lineup of tastings. As the weather gets more Springlike, we're holding our tastings out on our bucolic back deck. Please join us every Saturday, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM -- and visit us anytime to peruse the shelves, ask questions and discover the new wines of the season!
